My Polarized Rocket Garmur vs Vengeance and Inquisitor on YouTube

The following information is specific to the Missile Garmur and was current to 1 Jan 17. The accuracy of the following information is not known as I no longer fly the Missile Garmur.

With Level 5 skills and no skill hardwiring, this fit worked on the date above.

Lost – Afterburner fit Garmur on 25 Nov 16
My Mistake. Simple… I forgot the golden rule and warped back into a failed mission.

Background:
Ran this on the test server before I spent the Isk to get a Garmur. Most of the modules were sitting around in various hangers gathering dust, so unlike the recent Daredevil purchases, this one didn’t really bite the wallet too much.

The Enemy:
Two Inquisitor Logistics ships providing 80 hit points a second of remote armour repair.
The Vengeance will Warp Scramble out to 12k’s for 2 points, Web out to 13k’s with a -60% speed reduction. Orbit range of 7k’s top speed of 1050m/s.

At the Gate:
Ensure missiles loaded, SB on and modules undamaged.
Set ‘orbit’ to 30km’s and ‘keep at range’ to 40km’s.

On Landing:
When you enter the site the Vengence and two Inquisitor’s at about 40km’s. The Inquisitors (Logi’s) do not have guns, web or scram which is a good thing as your orbit may bring you close to one or both of them. They remote armour repair at 80 hit points per second.
Set your orbit to 35km’s and orbit the Vengence with MWD on. I chose 35 because I don’t trust myself to stuff it up. Once the orbit is stable I drop it down to 30km’s which helps keep the Logi’s in target range.
Use you Electronic Counter Measure (ECM) to Jam one or both inquisitors and wear them down. Once you bite into one of them it will move away from the fight, swap jams and hit the other one. This can be a bit frustrating but you will eventually kill both.
The Vengeance has, and possibly will use, defender missiles. I found that ungrouping my launchers and selecting them individually, F1-2-3, worked to beat the defender cycle.
I found no need to overload anything in this mission.

I could probably get away with a Faction After Burner as the Vengence top speed is 1050m/s but this setup is built to absorb player generated glitches.

Update: I have always had trouble getting a lock with ECM on the Inquisitor. Other team missions didn’t seem so hard. Fixed by ‘Overloading’ the first ECM and it seems to work. Might be the random number generator though…

Consumed – Not sure how many missiles I used as I warped in the first time with the wrong ECM. Both the Inquisitor and the Vengence have big EM holes in Shields. You could use Mjolnir to take the shield down and reload but sticking to Therm (Inferno) worked. Most sites say to use Explo (Nova) on the Inquisitor’s which is the worst armour resist and it worked for me.
